Interactive workshops
This exhibition has been a collaborative process. Beyond my interaction with the San Agustín del Sur community and the Don Pedro School in particular, I always had the idea of documenting the workshop in situ with a zenithal view using stop motion. From this initial idea, a transdisciplinary collective exercise was developed where Héctor González and Carlos Fabián Medina led corporal expression exercises, Edgar Carrasco was making video documentaries and Cheo Carvajal directed tours and talks, all converging on the maps made in the Museum.
The basic outline of the maps were prepared with the collaboration of students from the Unearte university. The assemblage of the whole process (we produced a new map in each workshop) has been possible thanks to the unconditional support of Franklin Sánchez, David Lezama and the team of the Contemporary Art Museum of Caracas.
